CHILDREN

The purpose of the Pass it on Foundation Inc. is to develop the distinguishing and distinct attributes of potential leadership into the children of today’s society. This foundation will also strive to develop and provide the knowledge in the children and their peers to maximize successful outcomes and build leadership within them.

The Pass It On Foundation. is devoted to making leaders, building outstanding character, and enhancing the scholarly attributes in the lives of ordinary children through numerous emotional, social, physical, and educational activities.

Adults who work with children, including teachers, social workers, relatives, and parents themselves, need the awareness and skills to recognize and meet the needs of children exposed to violence in the home and to refer children to appropriate services.

Close, dependable relationships can also help children reduce the stress of living in a violent home. Children who have an adult who gives them love, warmth and attentive care cope better than those who do not. Children who are exposed to violence in the home need to know that they are not alone and that the violence is not their fault. Children need a sense of routine and normalcy.

The Pass It On Foundation, Inc. recognizes parents as their child’s first, and most important, teachers. We work to support and partner with parents in this role. The Parent Partner collaborates with each family and
the group as a whole in developing
and implementing strategies for
each mother that allows her to use the power she holds to her child(ren)’s best advantage.
